ABOUT ME Here is a little information about myself. I graduated from the University of Mount Union. I Majored in History and minored in Education. I was in the A.Y.A. program here at Mount. This allows me to teach grades 7-12. While here at Mount I was a football player and a student coach. Before I came to Mount I went to North Canton Hoover High School. I graduated in 2010. I had many good memories in high school and had many great teachers. They are part of the reason I wanted to become a teacher. Those teachers made a difference in my life and I would like to do the same for my future students. While I was in high school I played football, basketball, and baseball. I was also involved with many different organizations. I was a member of Viking Huddle which was a student athlete organization. The requirements were a good GPA, an athlete in 2 or more sports and showing good sportsmanship on and off the field. I was Vice President of Student Council. I was a captain for all three sports I participated in. I also participated in Prom Committee. I was also a member of FEA which is future educators or America. I had a lot to keep me busy. I enjoy hanging out with friends and doing playing sports with them. I also enjoying relaxing with the family and watching a good movie. I don't have much time to relax so when I do it is a good hobby to have. I am the oldest child in my family. I have a sister who teaches at Northwest Middle School. My brother is a GA at Malone for baseball working on his masters. My next sister just graduated with her Masters from BG and is teaching english at East Canton. My youngest brother is working on his his college degree in education as well as he goes into the math field. My mom and Dad have been married for 30+ years. Ever since I was little I have always wanted to teach. I have loved going to school and learning something new and being around people. I have always looked up to my dad as a role model and have wanted to follow in his footsteps and become a teacher and coach. I have always admired the teachers in the classroom that are able to make in a difference and someday I want to be able to do that. I have a passion for education and am excited to be in the classroom helping out students.
